Our verdict
Founded in the early 1980s by Giuseppe Rampini, a native of Gubbio — Umbria's own ceramics town since the fifteenth century — and still run by three generations of the same family from a farmhouse workshop outside Radda. The prices are steep for what is essentially heirloom-grade ceramic, and that is the point: Renaissance-tradition work, not a souvenir line.
