A much-loved country osteria near Radda with a short, seasonal menu of handmade pasta, ravioli and gnudi, soups and peposo.

Our verdict

A Michelin Bib Gourmand in a hamlet most maps skip — Lucarelli, between Radda and Panzano — which tells you the ambition here despite the plastic-chair informality. Pici with garlic and rabbit stuffed with spinach are the dishes people drive back for, and Friday brings fresh fish up from Elba. Closed Mondays and through January and February; it fills up, so book.
