Our verdict
Swiss since 1990: the Davaz family moved from a wine-growing valley in Graubünden to Badia a Passignano and never left. Organic certified since 2016, with the terrace looking straight across the valley to the abbey itself. A smaller pour than the big names nearby, and worth it for that reason — book ahead and you get an actual conversation, not a script.
