Our verdict
One Michelin star since 2014, run by Sonia and Francesco out of a rustic-chic dining room a kilometre outside town. Reviews split cleanly along one line: people who came for a special occasion call it flawless, people expecting trattoria prices call it steep — know which trip you're on before you book. The 2015 spinoff next door, Albergaccio dell'Osteria, is the same kitchen at half the formality if the tasting menu feels like too much.
