A real trifolau and a trained dog, not a tourist reenactment — the hunt goes into working oak woods, and the truffle you find is the one you eat afterward. White truffle season, October to December, is when this is worth booking; outside that window you are paying for a walk with a dog rather than the thing itself. Ask which season before you book.
