   A working forge five minutes up the road — go for the noise and the smell as much as the ironwork.

   Up to Montefioralle for a set lunch on the terrace, everything grown on the slope below.

   Over to Radda: hand-painted furniture, ceramics and clothes, all made by the couple who own it.

   La Ceramica di Angela PianigianiRadda in Chianti

   Finish down a dirt track at Angela's studio. She's usually at the wheel. Closed Sundays.
